What are IPL accessories?
IPL accessories get more out of your device: heads for different areas, spare flash heads for longer use and aftercare for a more comfortable recovery. They don't replace the device, but make treating more precise, safer and more pleasant. All accessories are made for your Laesera IPL device.
Precision head or standard flash head?
The choice depends on the area. The precision head has a smaller window and is meant for fine or sensitive parts such as the upper lip, jawline and bikini line. The standard flash head has a larger window and treats larger areas (legs, arms) faster. More explanation about the interchangeable heads and about IPL per body area.
When do you replace the flash head?
A flash head lasts a long time; the standard flash head delivers up to 500,000 flashes, more than enough for years of use, even with full-body treatments. Once the maximum is reached, you simply fit a spare flash head and your device stays usable. That way you only pay for the part that's used up, not for a new device.
Aftercare: cool and recover
The right aftercare supports your skin after a treatment. The aloe vera gel cools and soothes straight after flashing, reduces redness and helps the skin recover. Alcohol-free and suitable for all skin types. Apply the gel as the final step of your treatment schedule for a more comfortable result.

All about IPL accessories
Which IPL accessory do I need for my treatment area?
Take the Standard Head for large, flat areas and the Precision Head for smaller contours. The Aloe Vera Gel is optional aftercare for hydration and a cooling feeling. Note: the flash heads only work on the Nova One, not on their own.
What's the difference between the standard head and the precision head?
The Standard Head has a 30 × 13 mm window for wide areas; the Precision Head 25 × 10 mm for more precise work. Both fit the Nova One. Choose based on coverage and control; the smaller head isn't more powerful or more effective.
Are the Laesera flash heads suitable for other IPL brands?
No. The standard and precision head are made for the Nova One's click-fit connection and don't work on their own or on other devices. The Aloe Vera Gel can be used on its own, as it's regular skincare.
When do I need to replace a flash head?
Replace a head when the flash capacity is used up or when the device indicates it. Don't continue using a head if the window, housing or connection is damaged. Not sure? Contact Laesera before flashing again.
How do I clean and store IPL heads?
Switch off the device, unplug it and let the head cool down. Wipe the light window clean with a soft cloth; don't use harsh or abrasive products. Store the heads clean, dry and dust-free and check them for damage before each use.
Can I use the Laesera Aloe Vera Gel after another hair removal device too?
The gel is independent of the Nova One and is regular cosmetic aftercare. You can also use it after another hair removal device, provided that device's instructions allow it and only after the treatment. If in doubt, follow the manual of the device you're using.
