Is IPL hair removal with the Laesera Nova One safe to use at home?
Yes. The Laesera Nova One is designed for safe use at home and has built-in safety mechanisms, including a skin contact sensor and automatic shut-off on incorrect contact. The device meets the applicable European safety standards.
Does it work on all skin types?
IPL works best on Fitzpatrick skin types I to IV combined with dark to medium-dark hair. For skin type V, caution is required. Type VI (very dark skin) is not advised. Unsure? Use our skin type test.
Does an IPL session hurt?
Most users find the treatment easy to tolerate. The sensation is often described as gentle warmth or a brief tingle. The Laesera Nova One comes with built-in cooling, which cools the skin during the flash. This improves comfort during the session and is felt by many users to be more pleasant than older IPL devices without active cooling. Sensitivity varies from person to person and from one body area to another.
How long does it take to see results with IPL?
Results vary from person to person and depend on skin and hair type and consistent use. Can I use the Laesera Nova One on different parts of my body?
Yes. The Laesera Nova One is suitable for several body areas, such as legs, arms, underarms and the bikini line. Use on the face is only permitted below the cheekbones. For sensitive areas it is important to use a lower intensity and to follow the instructions in the manual carefully.
What if the Laesera Nova One turns out not to suit me?
You have 60 days to decide whether the product suits you. If you are not satisfied, you can return the device under our returns policy. That way you can try the Nova One with confidence.
